Our best meal yet has been burgers, so I set up my pans for just that and decided to test boiled/baked eggs. It was late in the day and the temps were a bit cooler with intermittent clouds. It was a poor environment for such a test to say the least.
After a few hours our meat patties were done and my hash browns were warmed.
With the main food done I was curious with how my eggs were doing. Of course there is only one way to test how done a egg is...crack it open.
Needless to say it wasn't quite there, but it did show the potential of cooking in the solar oven, provided there were better conditions. I decided to leave them out till there was no longer sunlight hitting our deck.
This time they were much closer!
I ended up finishing them off in the toaster oven. All in all it was a fun test with delicious results!
Till next time, keep raising a sustainable future!
